About Us

Maiden Moon Essentials all began with a conversation between two confident women, regarding creating a period box for a girl who just started on her period for the first time; A box with everything she needed to get by and feel good during this somewhat dramatic week of her life.  When the girl received the box, she was surprised by its excellence, and excited by all the good things that were included, she was no longer thinking she was stressed out by not knowing what to do, but more so happy because somebody understood what she was going through enough to put all the essentials together for her in a neat little box that she could enjoy.  She loved it so much, she showed her friends, and they all wanted one too.  It was an idea that provided a way these girls could feel special, loved, and supported during this very special change in their lives, and on that note the company was born.

Our boxes provide an easy way for parents to get the essentials together for their daughters during that time of the month, we found that single fathers could really benefit from this as well as they generally want to avoid awkward moments, and this box makes it just one easy step to achieving a smooth transition into womanhood that shows love, and provides support, and during that time, and for every month thereafter. 

This box provides a little TLC to girls, teens, and women, when they’re feeling down which addresses everything regarding feminine hygiene, but it also allows them find out which products work the best for them.  As women we need to relax and rejuvenate during that time of the month.  Our boxes address all aspects, and takes thinking right out of it, so it’s a no brainer, and gets to you what you need to feel great.

We are confident this box will bring much peace and harmony to all those who are on their period, and we are also donating a percentage of the sales to different charities, starting with Backpack Buddies, which can be found online at backpackbuddies.ca.  No child should ever go hungry, we believe in that.  Backpack Buddies provides a personal delivery of backpacks full of food and snacks to hungry children at school on Friday’s that will last them throughout the weekend, and they do it in such a way that doesn’t embarrass them in front of their peers.  This is a cause that is dear to our hearts, because we literally can’t bear the thought of hungry children and will do whatever we can to help this cause.
